A must try Erika is so nice. Great food. Give it a try.
An absolute gem! Great value and quality. They managed to solve the issue of not knowing how spicy to order your food by first bringing you hot-and-sour soup that is considered mild on their menu so you have a reference point. Exceptionally friendly staff too!
Best Thai food in Troy All that we had was delicious: spring rolls, summer rolls chicken and shrimp, garlic broccoli beef and Gang gai chicken. Very tasty, fast for pick up and plenty of food for lunch portions!
My wife and I were in the area, so we decided to stop by for dinner since it was close. It was nice and quaint inside, but it took a few minutes to be greeted. Once we were, we immediately got seated and were given water and asked if there was anything else we wanted to drink besides water. I said hot tea and the waitress confirmed and left to get the tea..... presumably. We never got it, but didn't say anything. After that it took quite a while for our order to be taken. Having said all that, this place more than made up for it when I tried the Hot & Sour soup that was brought out with tempura chips. The soup was amazing! Definitely the best Hot & Sour soup I've ever had. It was on the spicy side, which I loved, but a bit too spicy for my wife. When our orders were finally taken, my wife ordered Drunken Noodles (mild) and I ordered Ped (Hot). My dish (Ped - hot) was fantastic....at least equal to the best I've had. The spice level was perfect...just hot, not ridiculously scorching. My wife loved her dish (Drunken Noodles). I tried a little and it was very good, although perhaps not the best I've ever had, but maybe close. We had enough to take home for leftovers (yay!). If they could tighten up the service a bit it would be five stars across the board. The staff was friendly and polite.
A new favorite lunch spot! Impeccable service from smiling waitstaff, extra water carafe at the table and complimentary (delicious) hot n sour soup with puffy chips to enjoy as I digest the menu. The standard Pad Thai was well seasoned, everything right and nothing at all wrong. Hot, fresh, nearly instantaneous lunch. Now I know where to go when I want a restful meal on my time frame. Superb!
Super tasty and very authentic. We ordered from Uber Eats. We were very happy. Fried rice could have been better because being vegetarian that’s the most needed item . Put many vegetables and make it really well done . You guys need to master in that for all the vegetation people .
My family and I had such a delightful dinner at Orchid Cafe last Friday evening. Their in-dining service was impeccable and their dishes so delectable. I would highly recommend the Hot & Sour Soup (best around Metro Detroit hands down), Crab Rangoons (half eaten in the photo - 6 total) and the Royal Chicken (the yummiest sweet sauce). I would drive a half hour to get my favorite Thai food from here. It’s a very cute & clean spot. Looking forward to visiting again soon! From the moment you step into this place, you feel it — that perfect mix of homey and effortlessly cool. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, like you’re visiting a friend who’s got really good taste in both food and interior design. Think soft lighting, Thai art, chill music, and the faint smell of lemongrass and spices floating through the air. Now the food? Absolutely unreal. Every dish hits with flavor that feels both comforting and exciting at the same time. Their Pad Thai is the best I’ve had outside of Thailand — slightly sweet, tangy, and cooked just right. The green curry is rich and soul-warming, and don’t sleep on the mango sticky rice — it’s life-changing. Portions are generous, and everything is plated with care, but not in a fussy way. The staff are genuinely kind, not just polite. You can tell they care. One of them even shared the story behind a family recipe when I asked about the sauce on the grilled chicken — turns out it’s made the same way their grandmother used to make it back in Bangkok. Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or settling in for a long dinner with friends, this spot nails it. It’s the kind of place you end up coming back to again and again — not just for the food, but because it makes you feel good to be there
